Jesus is our rock
A view shows the Pendle valley down below with a large rock in the foreground. The rock reminds me of Jesus. Christ is our Rock and designer so He knows what we will have to face, so He would have planned for every eventuality. The valley below reminds me of all the people and villages that we have to talk to about God. Pass on Christ’s word. But we do not need to be afraid as God with overlooking us, after all, if He paid such a high costly price, why would He ever abandoned us.
Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.

Jesus is our mediator for the “New Covenant”.

to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

The picture shows a stark tree on the way into Sabden. It looks hazard and waiting for new life.

Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice, for us.
Memorials remember those that have died, this one shows soldiers who crashed but who where giving their life for their country. Pendle hill.
But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,
